Korean dance is rooted in Korean traditional culture and is considered a form of traditional Korean dance performed to the rhythm and beat of Korean traditional music. It can be broadly categorized into court dance, folk dance, and creative dance. Therefore, not only can one learn about Korean culture through traditional Korean dance, but they can also foster growth, expressiveness, creativity, and artistic sense through various body movements.
