2026 Korean American Day Shorts Contest

In Celebration of Korean American Day (1.13), the Korean Education Center in LA (KECLA) is excited to host the "2026 Korean American Day Shorts Contest" as follows:
Contestants: K-5th grade, 6-12th grade, and undergraduate students (individual or team)
Topic: “The Best Korean I’ve Ever Met” (Shorts video introducing a Korean individual who has positively influenced your life
# Examples: A Korean friend or teacher who changed your life, an activist who made you proud of your Korean heritage, a young Korean leader making an impact on the global stage, etc.
Format: Vertical video, up to 60 seconds in length (FHD 1080×1920 recommended)
Submission: Both of the following steps must be completed for a valid submission
Upload your video to your personal YouTube channel, including the hashtags “#KECLA” and “#2026KOREANAMERICANDAY”
Submit your application via Google Form (https://forms.gle/

Deadline: December 1, 2025 (Mon)
Winner Announcement: December 26, 2025 (Fri)
Awards: Grand Prize $1,000, Gold Prize $500, Silver Prize $300, Honorable Mention $50
