Korean folk paintings drawn mostly by commoners during the Joseon dynasty. Students will experience drawing the Korean folk fan, peony drawing, folk painting scroll, card, and bookmark.

Minhwa intro & hands-on painting; minhwa-based crafts: paper flower vase, fan painting, stencil eco bag, traditional jokduri, traditional gat making.

Hanji (Korean paper craft), including origami/paper folding activities.

Hanji is traditional Korean paper made from the inner bark of mulberry trees. Students make decorative plates, handmade books, and traditional fans.

Shrinkles keychain making; paper quilling (frames/fans/art); 3D Dokdo contour map; 3D hanok; palgak lantern; yutnori set; general traditional craft/clay/paper folding. Can teach in English.
