Female Foreign nationals; both parents must also be foreign nationals

 

1. Undergraduate Program (Freshman)

A. Departments other than the Division of International Studies: There are no language proficiency requirements for admission.

  • Starting from the 2025 academic year, all incoming freshmen (except those in the Division of International Studies and the College of Nursing) will automatically be enrolled in the Global Scholars Program within the HOKMA College of General Education. As part of this program, students must take Korean language and required liberal arts courses for at least one year (two semesters) upon admission.

B. Division of International Studies: Applicants must meet at least one of the English requirements below.

a. English Proficiency Test Scores: TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS 6.0, New TEPS 326 or above

b. Completion of high school education conducted entirely in English

 

2. Undergraduate Program (Transfer)

Applicants must meet at least one of the following language proficiency requirements

A. TOPIK level 4 or above

B. Completion of a Korean Language Program (Level 4 or above) at a Korean language institute affiliated with a university in Korea

C. English Proficiency Test Scores: TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS 6.0, New TEPS 326 or above

D. Completion of education conducted entirely in Korean or English

※ Applicants to the Division of International Studies must meet at least one of the C-D English requirements.

 

3. Graduate Program

Applicants must meet at least one of the following language proficiency requirements

A. TOPIK level 4 or above

B. Completion of a Korean Language Program (Level 4 or above) at a Korean language institute affiliated with a university in Korea

C. English Proficiency Test Scores: TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS 6.0, New TEPS 326 or above

D. Completion of university education conducted entirely in Korean or English
